General Provisions
The Ukrainian Journal of Physics is a peer-reviewed scholarly open-access journal that adheres to the principles of academic integrity, editorial independence, transparency, and responsibility in scientific publishing.
The editorial policy and publication ethics of the journal are based on internationally recognized principles and best practices in scholarly publishing, including those developed by:

Authorship and Author Contributions
Authorship of publications must accurately reflect the actual intellectual contribution to the research. All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the preparation of the work must be listed as authors or acknowledged accordingly.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to request clarification of individual author contributions when necessary.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential or actual conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity of the evaluation process or editorial decisions.
Peer Review Process
All scientific articles submitted to the Ukrainian Journal of Physics undergo double-blind peer review.

The journal's research data deposition policy aims to ensure the availability, verifiability, and reusability of research results in accordance with contemporary international standards of scholarly publishing.
Requirements for Research Data Deposition
The Editorial Board of the Ukrainian Journal of Physics recommends—and, where appropriate, requires—authors to deposit the data underlying the published results in reliable open research data repositories.
When selecting a repository, authors are encouraged to use the international registry of Research Data Repositories:

Data subject to deposition may include, but is not limited to:

a persistent identifier (e.g., DOI or another stable identifier);

the conditions of data access (open access, restricted access, embargo, etc.).
This information is included in the article metadata and published together with the article.
Exceptions and Limitations
In cases where full open access to research data is not possible for justified reasons (confidentiality, commercial restrictions, legal requirements, or technical limitations), authors must:

describe the data and methods sufficient to enable understanding and verification of the research results.
Role of the Editorial Board and Reviewers

Preprint and Postprint Policy
General Provisions
The Ukrainian Journal of Physics supports the principles of open science and promotes the wide dissemination of research results.
The journal allows authors to deposit preprints and postprints of their articles in institutional, subject-based, or publicly accessible repositories in accordance with this policy.
Preprints
Authors are free to deposit a preprint (a version of the manuscript before peer review):

before submitting the manuscript to the Journal;

during the editorial review process;

after the manuscript has been accepted for publication,

Depositing a preprint does not prevent the manuscript from being considered by the Ukrainian Journal of Physics and is not regarded as prior publication.

Authors are permitted to deposit the postprint (the final author’s version after peer review but before publisher typesetting):

After publication in the Ukrainian Journal of Physics, authors are permitted to disseminate a link to the official published version of the article (Version of Record) on the journal's website.
When depositing a preprint or postprint, authors should:

Licensing and Copyright
