Запропоновано модель тривимiрного квантового вакууму, що визначається процесами народження/анiгiляцiї квантiв, якi вiдповiдають елементарним флуктуацiям щiльностi енергiї. В основному станi вакуум є “космiчним резервуаром”, який випромiнює i поглинає фотони. Спектральний розподiл Планка для енергiї, що випромiнює чорне тiло, є наслiдком фундаментальних процесiв у тривимiрному квантовому вакуумi, зокрема, в аспектi квантування об’єму, вiдповiдального за появу фотонiв.
