UJP Editorial Office is opening a call for papers to the memorial issue dedicated to the memory of Petro Mykhailovych Tomchuk (2.01.1934–7.10.2024) – the outstanding Ukrainian theoretical physicist, Doctor of Science in physics and mathematics, Professor, the Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of science and technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prizes of Ukraine in science and technology, and a long-term member of the editorial board of the Ukrainian Journal of Physics.
Scope of the issue:
-
theoretical studies of physical properties of metal nanoparticles and their ensembles;
-
electron–lattice energy exchange and hot electrons in island metal films;
-
semiconductor physics (kinetics, fluctuations, absorption, radiation);
-
liquid crystals and colloids;
-
physics of molecular structures with hydrogen bonds;
-
chronicle (review papers dedicated to P.M. Tomchuk’s scientific legacy and works).
All the papers submitted to the memorial issue should contain references to the works of P.M. Tomchuk.
Scheduled date of publication – October 2025.
Deadline for the submission of papers – May 31, 2025.
Topical editors of the issue – B.I. Lev, I.S. Gandzha.
