We show that the change of the rate of expansion can point to the existence of a particular type of forces acting in the universe. It is indicated that these forces have the quantum nature. The cause of the expansion and a change of its regimes is a special form of the effective potential well, in which the universe is moving as a whole.</p>}, number={7}, journal={Ukrainian Journal of Physics}, author={Kuzmichev, V.
