A hypothesis is put forward that the time evolution of dielectric constant is governed by changes in the supramolecular structure of the polymer solution; those changes have a fluctuation nature and are associated with the establishing of equilibrium in the polymer solution. Using the law of corresponding states, a similarity between the kinetics of equilibrium establishment in the polyvinyl alcohol–dimethyl sulfoxide and glycerol–water solutions is demonstrated. With the help of a proposed mathematical model, the characteristic lifetimes and oscillation frequencies of microscopic inhomogeneities in the polyvinyl alcohol solution are determined.</p>}, number={3}, journal={Ukrainian Journal of Physics}, author={Khorolskyi, O.
